I am 24 year old still life and conceptual product photographer who was born in Istanbul, Turkey
I graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Art and Design Faculty, Photography and Video Programme on June 2011 and I focused my energy to studio photography to specialize in still life and conceptual photography
When was the first time you fell in love with photography? And why?
In 2006 when I was preparing for entrance exam in my university. Because I like charcoal drawing and I generally was working with objects then I was starting to shoot.
Where are you located now?
Istanbul, Turkey
What makes your works stand-out or different from other photographers?
When I was in studio, I generally use ordinary objects one may use in daily life. When I am working with them I am trying to show unusual new side of a usual thing. Maybe this make my photographs more different from other photographs or photographers. I said more different because there are a lot of photographers working in still life or conceptual theme but everybody thinks different and makes different photographs.
What motivates you?
Good Photographs and ideas.
How does working professionally differ from being an amateur in your opinion?
I think there are not too much differences between being professional or amateur. That’s very fine line. If you earn money from photographs and you make this forever for a living you are a professional. But there are lots of amateur photography artist more and more successful than professional photographers… That is a really hard question to explain. there are too much things to tell.
If you could meet w/ any artist (one) past or present, whom would it be?
I really want to meet too much photographers. But I choose Carl Kleiner.
Who (or what) is your biggest influence?
Different objects and creative photographs
Do you have a style that you relate to the most?
Minimalism and simplicity
Can you offer any advice on how to build-up a portfolio / ‘getting your foot in the door’ for our readers wishing to start a career in this line of photography?
For build-up a portfolio Firstly, choose a theme and concept. Then you should start to think about your photographs and ideas. It depends for categories of photography. But I generally use this method for my still lifes.

Adobe Photoshop: to make my photographs retouch, color correction.
Color correction device: I use crite display 2 for make my monitor color calibration.
