about: EXIT MAN/ ALESKO
I worked in Paris for 11 years as graphic designer and as art director…But one day, I decided to leave the urban madness to live with a more human rhythm…and especially try to live on my art. Ansi until 15 years , I only painting and sculpturing under the name of Alesko.
I took the name of Exit Man because I always have a big passion for the graphic design, the illustration and the computer. So, I can realize all the creations which cross me by the head and without that it damages my paint.
So, Exit Man allows me to create with other styles.

No company, no artist management.
Where are you located?
I’m living in France near Bayonne.
What do you do when you are not producing artwork?
I’m producting all the time…it’s a “vital function”
What drove you to become an artist?
I’m not choose to be an artist…may be is a therapie about the strange wolrd where we are living…
What type of media/format that you are working with/on most of the time?
I use paper, cardboard, canvas and computer all the time
How do you promote/sell/showcase your work?
I don’t really promote my illustrations…I realize some printings of my artwork, I do artist contest, exhibitions…People find me through my sites and they contact me for a job but at the moment, I especially worked for musicians and other artist. I realize some printings of my artwork and I like collaborating , I’m looking for build a great group of collab.
What’s your way(s) to balancing work and life?
I’m working all the time!!….It’s an obsession
Who is an artist that you look up to? Why so?
I love Keith Harring, but speedy graphito and (a french artist) was my model when I was younger and still student. Because I am fascinated by lines and symbols, the realistic and academic works don’t interest me. Bilal, Druillet, Caza et Moebius are always in my in my heart for ever. I love the new artist generation too.
What music are you listening lately?
Dub music, Indian music, Blues, percussion, tri-pop….Dub syndicate, scientist, Massive attack, Susheela Raman, Urban species, Gorillaz….and much more

What do you like the smell of?, i.e. coffee brewing, morning grass, etc. Why so?
I like the smell of spices…I can see colours, heard sitar and tambourine…So I can do an Oriental travel
