Paco Quiles: I like play. Love design. I’m working on the LATV rebrand and I have just ended a movie credits: LIGHTMAKER directed by Dieter Meier.

Olaf Pérez: Raising my family, watching tv and pitching.

Desman a.k.a Luis Gallegos: I’m a happy guy! With a lovely girlfriend, a great job, a great family and friends!!

Arturo Benitez R2: I love my family, 3d, animation, video games, play guitar or drumms, and actually I finished Halo 3 at last.

If you have a bachelor degree/education background; what is it?

Paco Quiles: Graphic designer, typography, administration.

Olaf Pérez: Graphic designer

Desman: a little of Industrial Engineering, a shot of Graphic Design and Advertisement Design.

Where are you located? How did the team meet?

Olaf & Paco: Mexico City, Olaf and I were employed at oncetv , we used to freelance a lot with, almost everynight. Then Olaf founded Monos Studios with Asmín and Oscar Dueñas. In the mean time I was working with Desman. One day we decided to quit our jobs and start something live. We created DCMS then Olaf call me for a new project “SCRIBE MUNDO DE PAPEL” In that moment we knew that we begin something. Arturo joined us! a few days later. Since that day we are united! We call it crudeladies!

R2 & Desman: Desman and I were working on a Arquitecture Studio, and make a funny duo since then, later Desman founded DCMS studio with Paco Quiles and about six monts later he invited to join them.

Tell us about “SCRIBE MUNDO DE PAPEL”. What was the message behind it?
We only executed the idea, It’s a world made of paper, full of ideas, and all ideas comes from paper, comes from a sketch.

Would you explain a bit about the process of creating the movie? What were the challenges and how you went around it?
The principal challenge was create a world of paper, with everything what has a real world, with great visual quality in 2 weeks of execution. Almost we live in the studio during these two weeks, sleep almost nothing and we were smelling snub.

How do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Olaf Pérez: drinking beer

Paco Quiles: STRAIGHT EDGE

Desman: I’ll be living in my own house with Kika (my future wife)

R2: I hope to become a real 3d artist

Could you share any insight for people just entering the field?
Sleep while could, a lot of practice, watch a lot of tv, speak more, go to parties, have fun!

How do you overcome creative block?

Paco Quiles: Playing, laughing, sleeping, learning, reading a lot about the project

Olaf Pérez: I spent a lot of time with my family and friends

Desman: It just tell me, Is soon for the ilumination! So, I concentrate to the point where I can`t think, anything else. Then I take a relax and suddenly ¡BAAAAMMM!! The Big Idea comes!! This moment is great.
