(attempting to) study / hanging out….apparently the enigmatic artist persona passed me by

What drove you to become an illustrator?
its an outlet for stress or what I don’t know how to say out loud…..and on the shallow end, pretty drawings make me happy

How do you promote/sell/showcase your work?
I’ve taken part in a few small local design exhibitions and markets.

What’s your way(s) to balancing work and life?
Procrastination, until guilty conscience / unavoidable necessity / sheer panic sets in.

A great illustrator is…..
able to make you appreciate what you’re looking at.

Who is a illustrator that you look up to? Why so?
Shaun Tan – the detail of his work is epic, yet communicates in a way that is so simple and unassuming and relatable.

What do you think about the Internet and how it is affecting the visual communication business?
online viewing is great for alleviating the stress and anxiety and the ‘WHY GOD WHY DOESN’T THE COLOUR EVER COME OUT RIGHT’ that comes with the need to print your work out….>.>

anything sweet and fresh which makes the day seem lighter
