I’m an Italian comics maker and illustrator. I live in Milan, I’m born in the far 1981 and my first quality is the anormality.
When was the first time you fell in love with the cartoon world? And why?
When I was child I always drew, I copied the comic strips Disney. growing, to the high school, I have kept on drawing during the lessons. I have understood so that I didn’t want to keep on studying, but to make to sketch a job.
Where are you located now? Do you wish to be somewhere else at this moment, instead?
I live in Milan, Italy. I was born here, I love living here, but my greatest dream is to move me to USA. For the job the best place would be San Diego or New York, but I would love to turn the whole america, I think is the most beautiful country of the world.
What makes your works stand-out or different from other cartoon artist?
I like to melt the humorous style of the sketch with the realism of the coloration and the textures,. I think that is what make the difference
Have you heard/visited www.somethingwelike.com before? Do you have any inputs to make it better?
Unfortunately I had never visited before. I like it like this
How does working professionally differ from being an amateur in your opinion?
Being a professional means having to meet deadlines, listen to customer requirements and having to please even if you do not agree.
If you could meet w/ any artist (one) past or present, whom would it be?
Leonardo da Vinci,he is the greatest artist of the human history. A real genius.

Who (or what) is your biggest influence?
Mignola, Fernandez, Ramos, McFarlane, Sam Kieth.
Tell us several good online resources for cartoon artist you recommend visiting?
Deviantart is the best. I recommend going on the blog of the most famous artists, and from there find links to several lesser-known but very good
Do you have a style that you relate to the most?
I think the underground style.
Can you offer any advice on how to build-up a portfolio / ‘getting your foot in the door’ for our readers wishing to start a career in this line of cartoon artist?
In a portfolio you put both what represents you, what mirrors what as artists you are, but also what people are waited for to see. It needs to know how to follow the tendencies and to gather the instant.

Mignola, great style, so unic.
Ramos, he has revolutionized the world marvel making also it more approachable to whom doesn’t like the pure realism
Fernandez…Libertadore and the Magicien d’Oz ar amazing, they changed my perception of the color in the comic strips
Do you have anyone/company you would like to collaborate/work together?
I have collaborated with the Dreamworks realizing together to Anthony Campo the first 4 issueses of Penguins of Madagascar. The dream I believe it would be to be able to collaborate with the Pixar the best of the best.
What are the cartoon artist equipment(s) do you currently own?
Sheets, pencils, scanner, photoshop … that’s all I need
