I’m not gonna give out my name. Mostly because a good portion of the artwork I create/install is done under illegal premises. I’m a paranoid wreck too, so I’ll simply go by “uradhere” or “UAH” fer short. Another reason I wont give out my name is because I like to think of my work as an ideal – one so pure, to know a scum such as the real me hopes to live by it would surly disappoint.. identities are let downs.
Tell us about you.
About me.. well, I’m a street artist mostly. I make my own stickers and wheat pastes and stick them around town or give them away for free. I refuse to sell any of my work because art is far too “sacred” for me to risk involving it with money.
I hate the graffiti culture because it has nothing to do with art and more to do with reputation, beefs, turfs, and a whole buncha garbage that stirs up drama.. I don’t have time for that rubbish. My friend is teaching me how to ride a unicycle and its really really hard.
If you have a bachelor degree/education background; what is it?
After miraculously graduating high school I promised myself to never sit in a desk ever again. Twelve years was plenty for me.
Where are you located?
Bumblefuck Colorado Springs ..but not for long. come February I’m beating the dreary CO dust from my shoes and moving to Seattle… or that’s the plan .. whatever those are..
What do you do when you are not producing artwork?
I have a job food running at a fancy eating place. I used to ride my bike there but now I walk instead because I like jumping in puddles and kicking rocks around and singing drinking songs on my way there. I do a little turn-tableing. I day dream a lot. I watch violent movies rented from the library. I vagrant around downtown some nights just because I like the way things look at 2 in the morning.
What drove you to become an illustrator?
I’m just an artist. Its my nature to create.
How do you promote/sell/showcase your work?
I’m not sure if you’d call it “promoting” per say, but I’ve begun posting my stickers and junk on deviantart.com . As for selling – I don’t – ever. And I’ve done a couple gallery gigs in coffee shops and stuff. Mostly I showcase stickers on street signs and power boxes through downtown.
What’s your way(s) to balancing work and life?
I work to pay for food and rent ..if I have money leftover then I ask Tyler to cut my hours because anything over those two necessities is cutting into my playtime.
A great illustrator is…..
A great illustrator …does what he wants when he wants and does not concern himself with respect, reputation, or money – not for a moment. If he follows this creed, his art has no strings – his art is based off pure motives of emotion, passion, and the unadulterated unstoppable lust for creation. That is art… at least as well as I can word it.
Who is a illustrator that you look up to? Why so?
I look up to Mike Mignola, his style is so fresh and unique, his ideas are alive and original. And unlike many artists of our time, he is unassuming, un-presumptuous.. the guy almost cant take himself seriously at all. His stories are fantastic…and expensive.
What do you think about the Internet and how it is affecting the visual communication business?
The internet is fantastic, I can Google myself and steal music! Seriously though, I can learn anything through the internet; I’ve learned how to sign language, I can keep up with foreign affairs, I can communicate and collaborate with people like you ..blah blah.. as far as visual communication business goes… ah.. well these days anyone can sell/buy art online. Its opened up the market a lot. that’s cool but I cant say I care. …that’s just me I guess. I’d bet many people appreciate it.
What music are you listening lately?
I’ve been listening to more hard style techno .. I’ve been getting more and more attracted to modest mouse. most recently I’ve been hearing Regina Spektor.. my silly roommate got me listening to her .. I dunno

Art books? Ah .. ‘wall and piece’ was nice, written by ‘Banksy’ .. um .. ‘walking dead’ comic books… aaannndddd aw piss, you caught me. I dont read art books. I hate art books. I scarcely read books as it is – certainly not art books.. coloring books are cool
What do you like the smell of?
Bacon, Autumn, Oranges .. I like the taste of bacon, I like the taste of Autumn, and I like the taste of oranges.
