I am a photographer, writer, dancer, endless dreamer and a struggling soul. I have been an Irish dancer for 10 years and I now teach an adult class, and I used to compete at a championship level.

Photography isn’t just a passion or a talent for me, it’s life. It’s what makes me whole and what makes me complete as the person I am. I never stop dreaming, conceptualizing, thinking, and formulating ideas. I am a conscious and unconscious creative mind.

Bachelors degree currently in progress for Graphic Design.

Tell us about you
I photograph pretty people in interesting concepts, usually “out of the box” situations. I guess you can say I am usually in wonderland when it comes to photography, or at least the type of concepts I like to shoot. I’ve been doing this for a little over a year and I am hoping to grow more and learn more as time passes by.

I don’t have much more than half an A Level in Art, mostly because, frankly, the subject is so terribly boring. My teachers only ever told me what was bad about my work, and left out what was good.

I am a big fan of constructive criticism, but in my own little world it means telling them what you like as well.

I studied for two years in animation at the Cegep du Vieux Montreal.

First of all sorry for my English, my first language is french : )

I’m a 20 years old girl, and like most people I’ve always been drawing, but got serious about it around 14-15 years old, and got my first tablet around that year too. After high school I studied Animation 2D for two years, before giving up.

I’ve been off school for roughly two years now, and learned a lot. I’ll be attending Illustration in Dawson College at fall tho, since I feel like I’ve been getting closer to what I want my work to be like, but I still don’t have the confidence yet to be a pro.

I’m a photographer, I work on the link between photography and narrative. The two last years, I’ve been exploring the possibilities of animated photography with director Perrine Lottier-Wolff. Together, we made a short film called “the man who flew away” and we are now working on a tv project, “Gabrielle”. Before that, I’ve published books for children illustrated with photos.

I’m a project manager, majoring in initiatives supporting business in non-profit sector. Art has never been my profession but rather a hobby, which started playing more and more significant role in my life.

All I know I have learned myself by trial and error method. 5 years ago I was still making collages in Corel PhotoPaint out of horrible photos taken with a compact camera. Getting new tools 2 years ago brought me to another level-I surprisingly noticed my photos were gaining a better quality.

I work as video maker for a commercial spot factory, but in my free time I’m a video maker for me. I also like working with photography, specially with different kind of cameras and mix everything with videos.

Tell us about “MoreFrames” and what you guys do exactly?
Finding jobs is the hardest thing about what we do; at least half of our spare time here is spent in pursuit of them.  When we’re not working on a commissioned project, we’re developing our own material, drawing funny sketches of each other, using the need for fresh “inspiration” as an excuse to watch the occassional movie.

When we do have an official job, we begin by developing the base elements: theme, feel, characters, etc..  Then we draw and draw and draw.  The characters and setting are more or less solidified over the course of a few weeks.  Everything is storyboarded and we start animating.
